Overcome the limitations of existing animal models
  • We use MEPS-X to carry out fundamental biological research in an environment equipped with organ-level function of connected human tissues instead of in a traditional in-vitro experimental model using 2D cell culture in Petri dishes.
  • Studies conducted using the simple 2D cell culture can be further verified in a more physiologically relevant environment in order to validate discovery of new biological mechanisms. We use MEPS-X to better predict the drug efficacy in clinical trials by evaluating drug-tissue interactions and identifying biological mechanisms using human characteristics that are difficult to uncover in existing animal models.
